Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ZEROED iOS app and any associated services we run ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use ZEROED. By signing in, you represent that you meet that age requirement.

2. Your account

  • You sign in via Apple Sign-In; we don't manage passwords.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us at tuna.ozerdem@yahoo.com.
  • One account per person. Usernames are unique across the entire Service and assigned first-come-first-served.

3. Acceptable use

By using ZEROED, you agree NOT to:

  • Use bots, automation, modified clients, or any technique to submit timing scores not generated by your own real-time taps.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except as allowed by applicable law.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt our backend infrastructure.
  • Pick a username that impersonates another person, organisation, or contains language that would be disallowed by Apple's App Store guidelines.
  • Use the Service for anything illegal under USA or your local laws.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice. We may also retroactively remove scores from leaderboards if we detect cheating.

4. ZEROED Pro and in-app purchases

  • Purchases (lifetime and subscription) are processed by Apple under its standard App Store Terms. Apple — not us — handles billing, refunds, and tax.
  • Lifetime purchase grants you Pro features for the useful life of the Service. We don't guarantee the Service will run forever; if we shut it down, see Section 9.
  • Subscription purchases (e.g. yearly Pro) auto-renew unless you cancel through Apple's subscription management at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Refund requests are made to Apple, not to us. We can't process refunds directly.

5. Our content and IP

ZEROED — the app, its branding, code, designs, and content we create — is owned by us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes for as long as you comply with these terms.

6. Your content

The username, country, and gameplay results you generate are yours. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them on leaderboards and within the app — that's the entire point — for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, this licence ends and we remove your content within 30 days.

7. Service availability

We try to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee uptime. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timing-perfect, error-free, or compatible with every iOS version. We don't warrant that leaderboards will be free from cheating beyond our reasonable efforts.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for ZEROED Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $10.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — lost profits, lost data, or anything similar — even if we knew such damages were possible.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, lifetime-purchase holders may request a pro-rata refund by contacting us within 30 days of discontinuation. Subscription holders are entitled to a refund of any unused portion of their current period; this is processed by Apple.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll bump the effective date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of USA.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

13. Termination

You can terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account (see the Privacy Policy for how). We can terminate your access for breach of these terms or for legal reasons. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
